How to use Unity network Manager to fill in info for Scriptable Objects.
I am working on my first online game. It is a card game, and my current goal is to having it working over LAN with the option to select a pre-made deck in a start scene and play each other in the main scene,
My main scene has a game manager that expects two "Player" Scriptable Objects. The game manager then sets up the game based on the information in the Player SO. I have a camera ready for each player that the game Manager has a reference to and everything it working in terms of drawing and playing cards. So the flow of the game is:
Select Scene
Make a Player SO for each player based on the information got in that scene.{name, deck, etc.}
Send that SO to the Game Manger in the main scene.
The Game Manager sets up the game.
Play game.
The issue I am having is I can't wrap my head around how to use the Unity Network Manager. I understand I need a Player Prefab but my game is mostly Scriptable Objects interacting with each other.
How do I connect the dots from the Unity Network Manager to my start scene, then assign each player with a Player SO?
