Changing position of child on animation.
Hi everyone.
I have an animation controller for the character in my game (2d pixel art tilemap) and I use a gameobject as a spawnpoint for tools that the player can hold. The problem is, if the player switches directions, I don't know how to adjust the spawnpoint so the tool still appears to be in the player's hands. Is there a way I can adjust the location of an object on change of the state machine? I was thinking I could change the position when I change the state machine parameter that changes the animation direction, but I think there would be a better solution within Unity's UI. Also, if I wanted the spawn position to change within sprites of a single animation, how might I do that? (eg. the player walks with a skip and his hand moves up a few pixels on his up-skip).
Thanks in advance!
