Hello everyone, I am designing a game with high graphics. The problem is that when I transfer 3D models from the design program to Unity, Unity starts to crash when the size of the game reaches 8 GB. Not sure why your Unity crashes. I am designing a game that has extreeeemly (intentional spelliing) high 3D content and my total game size is 27 Levels and is 68GB on drive. I did find when building, I had to come off of my terrain that was 100,000 by 100,000, simply because it took too long to load, so I made the outdoor scenes a little smaller and I had NUMEROUS "play on activate" Particles. I broke my adventure inito about 18 different scenes of outdoors and the Indoor stuff is activated when I walk thru some doors. Some doors just open and I walk in and out easily. I was told long ago that my Unity game could be HUGE, just make sure to break it up a little. No model I have makes it crash and I have over 500 models. All 3d, none small poly count. Most modeled in MAYA or 3DS MAX or even Blender and all converted to .fbx format just to keep it all "apples to apples".
You should check your model poly count and look for errors.
I'm glad you answered my question and I'm glad to know that the problem is not from Unity, by the way, I use Blender to design my models, and the device I'm using has specs RAM 16 GB Intel Core i7 3740qm Processing Graphics cards intel hd 4000 I have some problems with the graphics card from time to time and the problem of the blue screen could be the cause.
