Stopping object with ConstantForce,Stopping Constant Force
Hi, I'm working on a project with a rocket, and to move it I'm using Constant Force (it's literally the example they use in the documentation, for a rocket lol). It goes up exactly how I want it to, however I can't stop it properly. I've tried to set the force to 0, to set the rigidbody's velocity to 0, to apply a force of opposing values (same x, -y to go downwards), but the object always seems to not respect all laws of physics after this. Does anyone know the proper way to stop/cancel Constant Force? Thank you! Attached below are images of the rocket's trajectory after I stop it with the methods mentioned above.
"I've tried to set the force to 0, to set the rigidbody's velocity to 0, to apply a force of opposing values (same x, -y to go downwards)". There can be many reasons here. Since you are a beginner, you may miss many things. Let me see your code.
