Why is my animated object making copies... Can't select or remove through Animator
The question says it all. I have a sword that my player swings in an animation. The sword is getting copied somehow and floating in the background. I've messed around with Animator and Animation but can't seem to remove them. Picture of the problem:
The orange circle is my player. The sword should be hidden until I trigger the animation. The animation works fine, just wondering why these copies of my sword are here.
Is there really a object copy in the hierarchy? If yes, when does it appear? Did you check what you do in your code in the moment when your sword gets doubled? Also you should think about posting said code, i guess it will be difficult to solve your question otherwise.
There is not a copy in the hierarchy, and I only know that one of the swords was made when I changed the exit time of the animation loop. There was one sword copy until I did so, now there is the second as seen in the image above. $$anonymous$$y code works and the sword copies are unaffected during runtime. I think it is an animator bug or some issue.
