Lighting Baking crashing on full scene
The lighting baking for our project is working if we bake the lighting on parts of our scene. Yet, when we try to bake the scene as a single whole, the baking is crashing.
Is there a way to do the light baking piece-meal, or is there a way to keep the light baking from crashing on the full scene?

Same problem on Unty 5. Lightmap bake (big scene but only one static object) freeze and crash.

I had the same issue, my work around was to bake individual objects via the "Lock Atlas" method. (This is if you are working on a Windows machine)
Also if the same scene with lots of assets (high poly) are baked on a Mac machine, it does not crash.
I don't know of any better work around yet, the crashes are caused cause Unity runs out of memory during the bake.
