Animator Controller Transitions doubts
I am new to animation in unity and I've searched all over for a good tutorial on the features of the animation controller transitions but I cannot find any good ones that go through each of the attributes thoroughly. So I am trying to clear my doubts here, any links to a good thorough tutorial of the entire transitions inspector view is also appreciated!
Doubts: - 1) In the Animations windows, a second is made up of 60 frames, but when we see a transitions window in the inspector, the play back area with the blue scrubber (above the preview window) has only what seems to be 30 frames in a second, is it a 2 to 1 mapping? I cannot make sense of it!
2) My second doubt is when does the transition switch exactly. When we give a transition duration of .25 seconds for example, does it mean that the first animation plays for .125 seconds and then the next one for .125 and then continues on to play till its end?
3) Also when we uncheck fixed duration, transition duration becomes a percentage, this is a percentage of what?
