half pipe friction loss
I have a character skating in a half pipe. The energy loss is enormous from one side to the other -- looks like around 25 percent loss. I have the same physicMaterial on every object. static and dynamic friction are 0, bounciness is 1, FrictionCombine minimum. Bounce Combine Maximum. Angular Drag is 0 and so is Drag. I've tried collisions to be dynamic continuous and discrete.
Why is there still friction loss with all these settings. Does it have something to do with the curved surface? Those same settings work great for flat surfaces.
