Is there a page to see recent relevant activity?
I apologize if this has been asked already, but when searching all I found were questions/answers in the other spaces.
Are there any other interfaces hidden away somewhere that tell me when I get replies, comments, etc? Something like a Notifications bar, or if I can move subscription activity from my profile to the sidebar, a message box (that can receive the same messages that get sent to my email), etc.
Right now there's no immediate way for me to know whether someone replied/answered my question, has comments on my answers, etc. The only thing I've found is through my profile, but it's hidden through so many clicks and it doesn't give me any sort of details.
I$$anonymous$$HO best you can do is Follow questions, which sends emails to you when anything new is added to that Q (any new Answer or comment on any Answer.) You won't get anything for non-text stuff (+1's or Accepted answer.) Those emails tend to stop working for about 1 week out of every month.
You can auto-set this is your profile under Notifications. I think the default settings are to auto-Follow any Q you write something for.
As far as things like "Recent Activity," that always seems to load so slowly, with so few results per page, that it's not worth using.

Ah, sorry, from context I was talking about a user's page. "Your Activity" shows a spinning snake, but if you wait long enough, it shows about 5 things. Clicking "more" during a solar flare while holding a rabbit's foot will eventually show 5 more. With an hour of work, you can see the last 20-30 things before it just hangs completely.
$$anonymous$$y point is, even if there was a Recent Activity on each question, which there isn't, trying to use it would be torture. But Following, which usually works, is mostly good enough.
