Unity Android build multiplying decimal numbers by 10 for an unknown reason
I have a TextMeshPro displaying a string "8.5", and I have a button that everytime I click it, it turns the text into a double type and adds +1 to it, and returns the double to the text, so the text now displays 9.5. And if I click again it displays 10.5, and then 11.5, and then 12.5, and so on...
On Unity Editor, when I run the build it works fine, the numbers are displayed correctly. But for some reason, when I actually build and play it on my Android phone, the numbers are multiplied by 10 for no reason whatsoever. So instead of displaying 8.5, 9.5, 10.5... it displays 85, 95, 105. Why does this happen?
