Game objects not shown
I opened a source code provided to me for an assignment in unity, but I can't see any of the prefabs in the game. It only shows background screen and some gui texts. It also says that 'Lighting data asset ‘LightingData’ is incompatible with the current Unity version. Please use Generate Lighting to rebuild the lighting data. Realtime Global Illumination cannot be used until the lighting data is rebuilt.' I have no idea what to do. Can someone help me?,
Did you open it with the same Unity version as the creator?
silly question, but have you made sure to open the correct scene ? also - what do you mean by "can't see any of the prefabs" ? If you mean in the scene, then perhaps you haven't opened the correct scene ? If you mean in the project itself, then you might need to contact whoever gave you the project and ask them
Thanks for the response! It was a silly question indeed. The problem was that the game objects were made in an older version of blender than the one i had installed on my pc.
