Can't seem to use GetPixels on a square texture in Unity 3.0 Iphone
I am using Texture2D.GetPixels on unity 3.0 Iphone.
I have the read flag set on a 512x512 texture RGBA32.
When I try to execute a GetPixels call on the texture it throws an error Telling me I can only use ARGB textures for GetPixels.
So If I change the texture to 512 x 511 it works and the image format changes to ARGB from RGBA.
So How can I use a square texture and GetPixels in an iphone app and What is the difference between RGBA and ARGB (I would say nothing but the compiler says otherwise)
An additional note - I checked override for Iphone and then set the texture to RGBA32 Bit. None of the format options work unless I change the dimensions of the image so it is not square.
