Materials using textures with black background are not entirely transparent.
I have a strange problem whereby when I create a material with a texture that has a black background (i.e. see below). As you can see, there is a purple sphere (right) with a plane in front that has a material using a distortion shader. Where the plane ends (left) you can see it blocks the camera from seeing the nebula. It does not however block the camera from seeing the planet, etc.
I have a feeling it has to do with my blending mode or something? But I am not experienced with shaders so I don't really know where to start.
