What 2d animation clips can I import into Unity?

Question

I've been looking through the unity documentation on animation from external sources but it seems to only revolve around 3d animation. If I have a 2d walking animation in .Fla format, is there anyway that I can import it into unity?

Unity is a 3D engine and importing 3d animation data is key.

Using the 3D engine to support 2D didn't including supporting importing fla data.

But someone went out of their way to create an open source importer. Your mileage may vary, but here you go: https://github.com/gree/lwf
