How to get smooth physics based object drag [solved]
Question: https://youtu.be/rb0EhmyQ0aM At 9:01 is a really cool object dragging mechanic that uses physics. I would like to try to recreate but I cannot get it working. I’m quite lost and do not know how I would go about creating this feature. I have tried using rigidbody.addforce but I can’t seem to get a similar function to that mechanic.
Answer: I used a spring joint attached to the player and connected it to the item i wanted to pick up, then I let unity handle the calculations.
