Is there a way to fix text size for 3D text?
Hi I'm new to Unity 3D and I'm currently following tutorials for Vuforia with Untiy 3D.
Currently I have a 3D text following my image target and the text size gets smaller/bigger depending on how close/far away the target is located from the camera.
What I want to do is to have a constant fixed text size so that the text doesn't shrink or expand according to the image target. But I still want the text to follow and rotate corresponding to the image target.
How would I do this?
Are you sure? I mean, people are used to seeing either HUD-style fixed text, which is made with screen elements (GUIText.) Or seeing world-based "I'm holding up a sign" text (3DText.)
Sure, you could figure out the distance-based perspective shrinkage, and divide to counter it, but I think world spin/perspective w/o distance perspective will just hurt peoples' eyes.
