Unity FBX exporter
I want to make an FBX runtime exporter...so that the current Unity Scene is exported as an FBX. However, I have no idea how to do this! What should I do? I don't need an exact script, just pointing in the right direction.

I'm not sure if the fbx file format specifications are out in open knowledge so the only way you would be able to do this is to create a fbx sdk plugin for unity (if one does not already exist). Autodesk has the resources to get you started with the fbx sdk.
I spotted an example of one the other day, and realised I could really do with one. Two further questions (sorry) firstly, can plugins be written in JS, and how difficult are they? Are they regarded to be only for the best, or what? Also, I imagine there are no learning resources on them, so they'll be quite hard to pick up.
