Player hosted multiplayer in 2020
Hello.
I've been interested in making of multiplayer games in unity. I can't find anything on making multiplayer games where the player hosts their own server like is common in casual steam games (e.g. terraria). Are there any easy options to make a game where players can self host for up to a few other players to join while their 'world' is active.
Just to be clear, I am not looking for something like a LAN server. I want players from different places to be able to connect with a fairly alright connection. Also, a tutorial on anything like this would be good.

I've only just started investigating but this seems like a really good option.
Completely free for what you want to do, handles custom messages on P2P also so you can really do what you want with regard to network traffic.
