Game Scaling Best Practice
I am trying to make a mobile game that is supposed to kind of represent a mini world in a box, but it is supposed to be a small box, maybe about 2 x 2 ft in size, like something you could hold in your arms. When I first made the game I didn't realize corresponding unity units to the real world would matter, so everything is huge (like the box is 20x20 units, which are meters in unity). Now, because of that, I am having problems with gravity because everything appears to be falling too slowly. Should I just increase the gravity and leave it at that, or scale everything down? It seems to make more sense in the long run to scale everything down, but then the coordinates of transforms would have a lot of decimal points and may be harder to work with. So which should I do, scale down, or increase gravity?
$$anonymous$$ass does not affect the strength of gravity, or the speed at which an object falls.
