How to make a countdown timer in unity that is running even before user installs app(and in background)
Hi. I would like to create a countdown timer that is always running in the background even before the user installs the app or the app is closed. The countdown timer will be for an event that is happening in the app so the users that have the app installed already will see the time left until the event and those that must still install the app will see the same time left until the event. I have seen other posts and video tutorials talk about using playerprefs or DateTime or TimeStamp but I don't think that it is applicable in my case. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advanced and stay safe in quarantine.
