Highlight images in buttons children

Hey there, i'm just trying out something.

Is there a good way to let images that are children of buttons react the same was as the button itself?

So when the button gets highlighted i want the images in the children get highlighted too, same with pressed and toggle interactable.

Is the recommended way to use the even trigger and "copy the buttons code" or can i request the current state of the buttons and when it changes i change the colors of the childrens images?
