Wii remote headtracking instead of mouse as input?
Hi, Unity newb here!
I've recently started to work with Unity, and I was wondering if this is a practical idea? I was watching a tutorial about a Wii remote hack where you can track the motion of the head using a Wii remote and an IR Wii receiver. It brought me to this idea and question that can we use this method as a replacement for what mouse does (turning head around)? If so how is that? Really appreciate your help and also the fact that you consider my basic newbie knowledge when you are explaining it! :) Tnx
you question is really general and may not get answered. First off you talk about a tutorial but you dont post a link to the tutorial for others to know what your talking about. Second you are more likely to get a answer on a certain problem then just asking about an idea.
also Welcome
You're right, I forgot, here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd3-eiid-Uw
Now I imagine those red targets as something done in Unity, typically we can move mouse around to see the environment.right? Now I wonder how can we have Unity to get input from this head-tracking device ins$$anonymous$$d of the mouse, I do realize this has to be some sort of code, but where to begin and where in Unity are these things done is my question.
Tnx again
