Vive Controller / Tracker as joystick
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to use a Vive Controller / Tracker as a joystick for a game where you can drive racing tanks.
I have a contraption setup to hold the controller on top of a move-able, physical, joystick. I will switch this to a tracker once I get the prototype figured out.
Now that I have a controller that can move with the joystick in the same way it moves, I am at a loss as to how I can connect that movement with my WheelColliders on the tank such that:
I know which direction the joystick is held down
How close the held direction is to the desired direction of movement
Any help or insights would be great, thanks!
