How do you implement levels of detail in grass?
I searched everywhere and the only thing i could find for implementing LODs in detail object is a plugin called "uNature", but it costs 50$, and that's a little too much for me. does anyone know another way to do it?

have a look at this => available on hithub
it doesn't implement levels of detail on detail objects
sorry for replying late, i use a texture in the default terrain editor, painting it as a detail object
well that’s allready the cheapest way to create grass. if you use textures and not grass meshes, then you’re creating quads as grass(2 tris per texture) . if you want to use more or bether grass you need to create meshes, with lod’s => have a look at blender tutorials how to create grass for unity.
the only thing right now what you can do is going to settings and play with the distance how far you can see detail objects
