[Question] using Collab to sync 2 computers under same user account.
Hello,
I develop on Mac generally, but due to some external software requirements, I now have a windows laptop. I am trying to sync my project from my mac to my windows box. Once I installed Unity and the hub on the new machine, I was able to see one of my projects in the cloud and synced it to the new machine. However, It's mostly empty and when I look at the history, I can only see about 3 pages of changes from about a year ago. I don't see any way to sync it to the current state. Also, I am currently using a free unity license. I am not planning to update to pro until later this year.
I haven't been able to find much on this topic except for the information on the following link, but if you look at the comments, other people are suggesting a similar situation where the project is empty or mostly empty. See on Unity Answers here
My goal is to mainly work on my mac. I just prefer it over the windows box, and only do 'windows required' tasks on it, import the assets from those tasks to unity, push them to collab, then get back on the mac and continue to do my work.
Also, due to travel, my mac is the one flagged for no-fly because of the battery. So when I have to travel, I will rely on the windows laptop.
Any updated help on this topic would be great. Thanks.
