Unresponsive Editor (Loading.ReadObject) - Unity 5.6.6f2
Hello everyone.
My Unity Editor seems to freeze for a few seconds in some cases. First, when I switch from another application to the editor; and second, after I tested playmode and atempted to open a tab such as Edit, Tools, Window, etc. or even a menu such as the layers selector in the inspector.
I profiled the Editor, and when this freeze happened I found a "Loading.ReadObject" call taking up to 6000.00ms. Specifically, theres a sub-call to "Loading.LoadFileHeaders" wich is taking all those ms to process.
I checked the forums more than once, and found some "collab services" making the editor go unresponsive, but it doesnt seem to be related to my problem. Other than that, I found nothing.
Im currently running Unity 5.6.6f2 in a Ryzen3 2200g, 8gb Ram, w10.
This issue happens very frequently, making the editing process very frustrating. I'll apreciatte any help someone could provide. Thanks in advance and I apologyze for any inconvenience this post may cause.
