Splash screen orientation - iOS
For some reason, even when I select Landscape Left in Project Settings, the splash screen shows up as Portrait - how do you change the orientation of the Splash screen?

This one got me for a bit as well. Make sure your splash screen image is set to type GUI and not Texture.
Texture changes it's dimensions to nearest power of 2 and so Unity doesn't know what it's looking at. Change to GUI and everything works.
:( this didn't work for me. Any other ideas? I'm using 5.3.3f1 pro

I've noticed this bug as well. I have "auto-rotate" selected in project settings, yet once in XCode the image has been smashed into Portrait. The annoying thing is that I have both of the portrait options UNCHECKED in Unity! My only fix so far is to correct the images and have XCode replace them. It then shows up as landscape on my iPhone (although it still doesn't rotate to the proper direction).
