Selective glow through a multi camera setup with a bloom effect
I'm trying to achieve a glow effect with bloom only on chosen objects in a 2D game. I understand that I'm supposed to make a multi-camera setup, use one camera only to render the glowing objects and apply an image effect to that camera.
However, this turned out to be massively difficult and I cannot seem to wrap my head around it. Everything I've tried always renders a bloom effect on the whole screen instead of the chosen objects. I'm making a pixel art game with a pixel perfect camera that uses a render texture, similar to the one made in this tutorial: http://www.returnofthebrain.co.uk/pixel-perfect-virtual-camera-unity3d/
