Using Unity's symbol in a game
I wanted to use Unity's symbol as a game object when making a game and I will NOT be using Unity to make this game. Am I allowed to use Unity's symbol provided that I reference where I got the image from?

Unity has official brand usage guidelines which can help you figure out to to appropriately use their logo. I think in your case, the best thing to do is to ask directly, explaining your situation. You can direct branding questions to brand@unity3d.com.
