Override Built In Animator Component
I would like to override unitys built in animator component to add some additional functionality. Like the following:
namespace UnityEngine
{
public class OverrideAnimator : Animator, IPunObservable
{
public void OnPhotonSerializeView(PhotonStream stream, PhotonMessageInfo info)
{
}
}
}
However, it doesn't derive from MonoBehavior. How might I be able to accomplish overriding/replacing functionality of the Animator component?

Or even if its possible to use extension methods to override built in methods like the SetTriggers. However, this doesn't seem to actually work.
