2D vs 3D for top down game?
Hi everyone,
Just a quickie, I am looking to start a top down (no up/down axis) project that involves physics, such as gravity of the player pulling enemies to it etc. Should I make the project 2D (Its vectors not pixels) or 3D with a set camera up the top? Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks

Hello ! It depends on your level in unity! If you have just started it will be better to start with a 2D project. Now, if you think you're pretty average in unity, I recommend a 3D project. After that, whether it's 2d or 3D, in a game like this, it doesn't matter too much, except that in 3D, you can add visual effects, 3d models, you can also play on the light, etc ...
Hope to have helped!
Have a good day !
