Are you behind a proxy by any chance? Also, could you try running nslookup kharma.unity3d.com from a ter$$anonymous$$al/command prompt?

Are you on a public Network ? If yes maybe the port is blocked, on my University the port is locked and is impossible to access

Hi. If it is network problem my end must be strange, because I can access the server fine as https://kharma.unity3d.com/ fine from a chrome browser on same machine, but not from within Unity.

Unity is listed on firewall exceptions - but it also fails in same way if I temporarily disable firewall completely.

HOWEVER... it is now working. I haven't changed any config this end ! It has been an intermittent problem before, so I will send an email to assetstore@ next time it fails.

Hmm, I Think i found my problem. $$anonymous$$y Antivirus is blocked me to access the $$anonymous$$ site. I think that is my problem, because when i turn off my Antivirus, then i open the Asset Store in Unity. It`s fine.

I've had the same problem off and on with my IT and firewall. I found if I launch my Unity Editor with Admin Privileges, the asset store launches.

Have you tried restarting Unity? Can you access https://kharma.unity3d.com/ in a browser (is it a local network problem?)

It appears this happens sporadically. When it happens, please contact assetstore@unity3d.com so we can have a quick look at it.

This problem still exists. Is not triggering firewall popup, just not working. There is an error reported in Unity Console "SSL connect error url: https://kharma.unity3d.com/ but I can access this fine in Chrome.

  1. Go to Internet Properties (Internet Options if you search on Windows 8)

  2. Go to connections

  3. Click on LAN settings

  4. Uncheck "Use a proxy server for your LAN"

Worked for me!

Hi, I had the same problem but I fixed it. If you have an AntiVirus like AVG, Avast... You must diactivate it or turn off the firewall to be able to access to Unity3D Asset Store; Hope I help you with this.
