Should I put custom launch image in my iOS game? Unity Personal, best practice.
I am aware that unity splash screen is a part of the free ride and I'm happy with that.
Quoting the following link: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/29739920/i-can-change-the-ios-splash-screen-but-i-cant-change-the-android-splash-screen
"On iOS, Unity's default splash screen is a solid colour image acting as the iOS launch image, and then Unity adds its own "Made with Unity" splash into your first scene while your scene is running."
This is the behavior i observe when running my build on a device. Is the unity splash broken into those 2 parts and should be left alone? Launch image part is editable.
What is the best way to proceed here? Should I create my game's launch image so that 2 things would display before game starts? Or should I just leave it the way it is and have only unity logo displayed?
What also concerns me is app review process. Won't they consider just plain colour launch images as some placeholder graph and reject it?
uhm anyone ?
The simple question is. There are 2 "splash images" on ios startup. "Launch image" which u can edit and personal unity splash that has to be there as part of the license.
Is it a common practice to edit the first one or not ?
