Is there a way to achieve noise shadow in a shader like on this illustration?

Hi there,

Is there a way to achieve this effect seen on the image with a shader? To be precise I'm hoping to achieve the noise in the shadows like you see in a lot of illustrations recently. I have been looking for tutorials but I cannot really seem to find any.
