Get the rotation of a object around a arbitrary axis.
I am currently using Transform.RotateAround to rotate a object around a different objects transform.up axis. The function looks something like this:
objectA.RotateAround(objectB.up, amountToRotate);
The problem is that i am trying to smooth this rotation now, but i am not sure how to get the current rotation of objectA based on objectB's transform.up axis.
Do anyone have a suggestion on how to get the rotation of a object around another objects transform.up axis, or another way of smoothing the RotateAround function?
What do you mean by smoothing exactly? (Since you can pass any angle to RotateAround(), the rotation can be as smooth you want it to be. I'm guessing you mean something else though.)
