I want create 2D lighting that is similar to this. I know that that one was made in game maker but would it be possible to get a similar effect like that into unity where there can be multiple light sources like that.
Why don't you just use regular point lights and a shader that supports lighting for the tiles?
Well when I add it into the level, it doesn't make any light.
As I wrote above, you need to use a shader that supports lighting. The Default-Sprites shader doesn't do this. Use one with the word "Lit" in the name, for example.
Just one thing, I'm not using materials I simply use a sprite that I attach to the sprite Renderer, would it be the same proccess?
