2D animation activates all child objects when it starts.
I am creating 2d Animations for my game in unity itself. So i create an Animator on the parent and then control all the children through it. Animations consists of multiple things, Activating object, Deactivating objects, Moving Objects, resizing objects etc. Every time an animation starts, for some reason first it activates all of its child objects and then continues as it is supposed to. The issue here is everytime an animation is started, i see a flash, which has all the children activated, then deactivates all and then continues animating them. This happens occasionally. Occasionally - Most of the times.
