Navigation conventions for touch input
Building a first person architectural walk thru for mobile and desktop platforms. The mouse is ideal for navigation on the desktop, but what about touch input?
What are some established conventions? Should I rely on hot spots, dropdown menus, swipe detection, or simply detect which region of the screen a user touches? Any demos to reference?
