2D: Ignore Collision only with specific gameobject and before Instantiate
Hi, I would first add a case in point then enrich the question: 2D map containing tiles. multiple players that move around and can pass through one another without issue. each player can create an item, say a box. Since it's a tilemap, the box should be as big as a tile. if Player1 creates the box, he should appear overlapping the box and player2 should not be able to move on top of the box. If player one leaves the box and then tries to get back on it, he should not be able. Boxes need to be w rigidBodies since they will move around and interact with other objects. My question is: how could i create a box object that at first is not colliding with any players that are on the tile it is created on but collides with all other players? Ive tried multiple combinations of enabling/disabling the colliders but when player1 instantiates a box, he gets shifted from the tile he was on due to, i think, the initial collision.
