Really simple spherecast not working.
I have done sphere casts a handful of times and had them work fine. For some reason I have tried every configuration but this one will not ever return true.
I have a Y offset from my transform which is the origin of the sphere cast, and then it goes a distance of skinAmount out from inside my player object. It shouldn't contact my player object because it starts inside. Also because it is looking for layer 8 which the ground is on. But no matter how big I make the skinAmount or which of the other variables I change I haven't had it come back true a single time.
