Unity is working slow and laggy
Hello guys, i have a huge problem and i will be thankful if you can help me. My unity editor is lagging all the time, i don’t know why, but it’s awful. I tried -force-opengl, but nothing. My laptop is lenovo legion y520, cpu: i7-7770hq, 8gb ram, gpu:nvidia gtx 1050ti 4gb. Thank you very much guy.
I downgrade my nvidia driver to 399.24
I have assets FlowCanvas, Realistic Effects Pack 4, Ultimate Game $$anonymous$$usic Collection, GameFlow, HEROIC FANTASY CREATURES, Universal Sound FX, Gaia
You're using a laptop, so there are a few checklist items to go through:
1- Are your power management settings turned to Performance or Battery Life?
2- Is your power supply capable of supporting the laptop? An underpowered AC adapter can inhibit performance.
3- Is Unity running with onboard graphics or the NVidia card?
1- It's turned to Performance. 2- The cable is the original one. 3- I start it with Nvidia card.
well if you have to much scene objects, it can cause performance issues with your editor(for example terrain(gaia) with alot of stuff going on)
like i have a macbook pro with 16gb ram and 2 gb graphic card = bad performance.(7-20 fps) but if i run the same project on my desktop, 32 gb ram / nvidia geforce gtx 1080ti(11gb) everythings normal, up to 70-80 fps
i sugest disable components and see if that increase your performance..
