Multiplayer board game using photon in unity (Assign 4 pawns to 1 photon player),Digital board game with Photon, assign 4 different coloured pawns to 1 player
Hi, I have some extent of knowledge about unity but I'm new to photon. I m trying to create Ludo/Pachisi board game in unity using photon for multiplayer. If any of you have played Ludo before you would have known that one player controls 4 pawns. The problem I m facing is that after I create a room with 4 players I want to assign 4 blue pawns to one player, 4 red pawn to another player, 4 green pawns to another player and 4 yellow pawns to another player. I m not able to identify or differentiate photon player (It's throwing an error saying that this type or namespace is not found. I use photon PUN 2) so that I can assign 4 pawns to each player. Please, someone, let me know if there is another way to get this done or how I can identify/differentiate players to assign them control for the 4 pawns. Thank you.
Hey there,
can you please show what you tried so far? Perhaps include some code, especially if you get some errors.
In general every Player should just spawn it's own Pawns. You can use `PhotonNetwork.Instantiate(....)" for this.
hey there, did you happen to find any answer to this yet? I've been strugling with the same..
