Issues with Mixamo Rig character and animation clips
Hi, I have a very specific issue that I'm trying to get answers to. This is my situation - I have the XBOT model from mixamo, with some LEGACY CUSTOM ANIMATIONS. Which means I am using the Animation component to load and play this animations. The animations work well with this XBOT model. The same animations also work perfectly fine with the YBOT model from mixamo as well. (Which is logic because they have the same bone structure)
I also have another humanoid model with the same rig hierarchy (bone names, structure...) as the XBOT model. I was trying to use the same animations in this new model, and I can use them but the animation looks completely wrong. I want to know what can this be, even though this model and the XBOT has the same rig, why the animations don't work well. I don't have any experience as rigger or animations, I am a programmer, and so far I can't find any answers. So is someone can explain what is happening I will very grateful! Any ideas?
A couple of things: I need to use legacy animations (Animation Clips), I cannot use fbx so no mecanim. (This a requirement)
To ilustrate my problem a bit better, here is a picture. Both models are using Animation component and the same Legacy animation. The XBOT looks ok, the female character is completely wacky
