Footprint of System.Web on a project
Up to this point, I've been rolling my own data-storage language for building instances of objects using some text file with a hierarchical structure. In my day job, I've been using JSON for much the same purpose, and find it to be far less of a hassle.
I'm aware in C# that System.Web has a JavaScriptSerializer
class that is excellent at serializing and deserializing JSON blobs and classes.
Questions: A) What kind of footprint System.Web leaves on a Unity project? For that matter, B) Am I better off rolling my own JSON interpreter or C) is there already a well-known JSON interpreter for Unity that already exists?
Note: This is not for accessing webpages, but for extracting data from a text file that gets built with my projects.
I would tend to avoid System.Web. There are a number of json parser recommendations in this question:

I personally coded my own for fun on a different project. It's not too painful if you enjoy that sort of thing, and the specs are easily available.
And, this could probably be considered a duplicate question.
