Player Party Save
I'll try to explain this the best I can. I have a game where the player creates an entire party of x amount of characters. Each character has a class, stats, etc. Not the important stuff. I can get through all of that and the player creation. what I'm having a problem with is:
I've created Panels(slots) with button scripts to create a new character. However, when the player is done. I need the character to be stored in that slot. and then they can click the next slot. I think, I've just been up for too long and can't seem to think of how to do it. I thought about just creating three different bools so if the panel is clicked there will be a if(boolName = null){ //go to character creation; } else { //Do Whatever;
How can I make those three panels open different saveID's for each player without creating a click script for each? Would an array work?
Also, the reason I made them bools is because when they come back to the character screen I want it to show the characters sprite and stats(That way they know they created it). I'm new to UI but know my way around it a fair bit.
Any light on this topic would be much appreciated.
