unity assets folder is empty
hi!
I've searched all over google but I can't find the solution to my problem. I updated my computer's sierra version, and after doing that my unity's assets folder became empty after launching. I've tried installing and uninstalling unity multiple times, and even tried re-importing the assets. when i check it on finder, its still there. But in unity its blank.
Did you figure this out? I have been going crazy trying to figure this out.
I've installed unity a bunch of times (different versions, the beta, etc) and still can't get any files to permanently stay in the project folder on Unity. The files do exist in finder though. Nothing shows in assets but if I add something the files or folder might show but after clicking away they disappear.
If I click Save Scene then the files show but as soon as you click anywhere they disappear again.
Could it be something to do the Sierra update? I did the same trying to test out AR$$anonymous$$it.
Also, when trying to import a package I get the error message "Nothing to import. All assets from this package are already in your project."
This is from a fresh install and new project. The assets are definitely not already in the project.
