mesh collider impact on fps . Someone has an opinion, please voice it,
Scenario is a terrain situation where the ground has ...for the sake of this question - 10,000 polygons. I have that same mesh as the meshCollider. For Frame Rate, would it make a significant difference to make a separate collider mesh to use instead? I mean I could take the time to make such a mesh that would be 1,000 polygons - but would this help the frame rate? SOMEBODY must have an answer to this if you aren't just a coding nerd and actually make games . Yeah...does that sound bitter? well , yes because 99% of ANYTHING I ask here gets totally ignored. I worked in the game industry for 12+ years as an animator and I know poly counts are critical but this is a new animal to me
