Synchronous Tcp and threading
Hello,all! I want to make an app that communicates with other non-unity apps using synchronous sockets (the TCP code will work in a thread in unity app). With my research about this topic, I have found some developers use asynchronous socket in (TCP or UDP) because of (what I understood) better performance. In addition to, threads can not interact with unity as said here Threading in Unity. What does that "interact" mean? I tried some small examples in unity using threads and it works fine.Please elaborate me.
