How to use triggers to partially render/change objects material?
Hello Unity Community,
I am testing some concepts and was having some trouble coming up with a solution to my dilemma. I am attempting to render/change the material of a section of an object on a OnTriggerEnter or OnTriggerExit trigger. Ex. Having a white cube in the scene and a sphere trigger enter the corner of the white cube and have that corner of the white cube change color to to say red, or having the corner not render.
Related topics or concepts may be that of the splatoon ink, gun barrels not passing through corners, or dynamic runtime texture painting. Thank you for any concepts, help, or links you can guide me towards!
