Reset Rotation of model after animation
Hey, I just started working with Unity and I ran into my first real problem.
I got a player Object, let's call it "player". Player got the following structure:
Player -- Camera -- NameTag (A 3D Text) -- Bip01 (The Model itself) ---- (Different Bodyparts)
Player got a component "animation" and one animation (The Deathanimation) rotates the playermodel 180° so the player falls/collapses towards the camera. Now I want to revive said player but whenever I reset the health and apply the idle animation the player now faces the camera and there is no way to turn the model (Bip).
I tried the following: (Setting Health) Transform bip = transform.Find("Bip01"); bip.rotation = Quaternion.Euler(0, 0, 0);
The rotation is applied but Bip is still not facing away from the camera but to the side. (It's facing the y = 0 relative to the world and not relative to it's parent "Player").
The strange is: If i change the y-rotation of "Bip" via the Editor to 0 everything is how it's supposed to be. It's then facing the y = 0 relative to the parent.)
I hope I could explain my problem to you and that someone got any idea what to do.
